Jillian has survived a plane crash and living on a deserted island for twelve years, now she is in law school. The two men who were on the island with her want more than a friendship, her law professor has taken an interest in her and she is having a lot of psychic visions. First off I have to say I love the main characters name, Jillian it's such a pretty name and since it is also my name I have a certain affinity for it. Jillian is a smart, driven woman, she has adjusted really well and her life is going pretty good. Her psychic visions give a nice little twist to the plot line, but the three men and her problems choosing are what really drives this book. I have to say I am a bit burned out on the whole every man wants this woman and now she has to make a touch choice between them. I liked the characters, Alexander and Oliver were twins but have two very different and distinctive personalities. Paul was more of an annoyance than anything else, I felt that him pursing Jillian was inappropriate. I really did like this book, it had a great mystery to it, the writing was great but I just couldn't fully enjoy it. If the book hadn't been so focused on who the heroine was going to pick, then I would have liked it more. I wanted to read more about Jillians psychic visions and how she has dealt with them. Overall for me this was a good book, if you like love triangles and books with a little mystery then you will love this book.

Olivias father has just died at the funeral their priest gives her an envelope that changes her entire life. She finds out that they were really in the witness protection program, her farther sold art forgeries and now somebody is after her. Ethan is the new agent assigned to her case after the original case agent died protecting another witness. The two of them are fighting the attraction towards each other, they have to learn to trust one another or both of them could end up killed. Olivia is a paranoid, smart and at times sassy heroine, her life gets turned upside down and yet she keeps it together. Ethan had a messed up childhood, he doesn't let people beyond his aunt get close to him. The two of them together have great chemistry, the conversations they had ranged from amusing to deep and heartfelt. The mystery in this book is what had me hooked, the author did a wonderful job of letting out little tidbits of information without making you feel like the book was to long or drawn out. It kept me guessing and wondering what is going to happen next, I loved the little shocker at the end. This was a great book with wonderful character and creative writing with a flair. If you like romance, mystery or suspense novels then you should definitely pick up Identity Crisis for your next read.

This book is set during WWII Miranda and her small group of friends have been helping to rescue children, on one of the nights Ben and Mirandas paths cross and it changes everything for the two of them. This book is wonderfully written, you can tell the author put a lot of time and research into every aspect of it. This book is not the your average paranormal romance book, the issues it deals with are real and relevant. The question of what is evil, something you are born as or is it something that you become? Mankind in this book show that true evil is something you become, while the paranormal creatures in this book are not all light and fluffy, they are not evil. The way this book was written just blows my mind, the author has the characters jumping of the pages and the utter helplessness of some of the situations had me in tears. Again I have to mention the amount of research that went into this book, it takes real life events and bends them just the tiniest bit by adding some supernatural elements and making them seem real. While I am not normally into WWII books, I really enjoyed this one. Release is a great book, anybody looking for a book with substance and depth should read this one.

Holy Heck, this was a sizzling steamy book and it starts you off with a bang!
Ian is just back from his final tour of Afghanistan. A return soldier, he only wants to be alone to deal with his PTS, but he is whirled straight from the Airport to a welcome home party a his sisters fiance's club.He does not want to be there and in the middle of his frantic escape, he bangs straight into Roxanne.
Roxanne is on her way to a welcome home party for the brother of her best friend, when she is knocked on her ass by a man who looks strangely close to a panic attack. He also seems to be one of the most attractive men she has ever met.
They have immediate chemistry and neither know who the other is when they go home together.
Roxanne makes it clear to Ian that she is not interested in relationships at all, but he is not going to let go of the one thing that has calmed his war damaged soul.
The chase that ensues is a good one. I loved that it was the man chasing the woman, convincing her of the joys that a relationship could bring. Roxanne's issues with relationships were fair ones and I could definitely understand her skittishness around the big "L" word.
Roxanne as a character was a funny one, I loved her witty retorts.
Ian,of course, was adorable, the perfect man and I love reading about a perfect man :)I loved especially how he found his calm within the presence of Roxanne,it made their romance all the more sweet.
This book flowed really well, in fact it was such a delight that I read it in one day.
I have read the book one in this series by Katee Robert, Wrong bed Right Guy, and I have to say that this one left it for dust. The characters were just perfect, very likable.The relationship didn't feel forced at all, I felt the connection and was really looking forward to the happily ever after. The steam factor was there, it started right from the beginning and kept me excited right til the end. I would suggest giving this one ago, it had everything in it that I have come to expect from a really great erotic romance.

What a shame it would be to stay away because you were afraid it would end. What a shame it would be to miss so much beauty.... touching words to finish a stunning book.

Laura Lee, has written a book that will challenge your thoughts on homosexuality within the Christian religion. It is based around Paul, a 42 year old widow that lost his wife 6 years ago to cancer. Since then he has lived a shell of a life and although he is a minister in a church he really feels no inspiration to live.

Ian is a 24 year old very troubled young man, he is an alcoholic who struggles with the belief that he is unlovable and unworthy of time because he is gay.

Paul comes across Ian, who is on his way to his AA meeting, and mistakes him for an angel, a sign from god. This moment is a life changer for Paul who sets out to save Ian because he is drawn to him. He struggles with his new feelings for this young man, especially trying to reconcile his feelings with the views of the church. A secret relationship follows to which these two really form what they both feel is a”blessed union of souls”, no matter what anyone else thinks.

He sat with his head down, letting the emotions wash over him in waves of anger, sadness, shame, and fear. He was the same person he had always been. How could one choice make him seem suddenly different to the world?

I don't want to give this story away. I want you to read it, because it is worthy of people experiencing it with an open mind and ready to see it for themselves without my views on what happens. I will say that this was a highly emotional book for me and affected me very deeply. I loved how easy it was to read for something that had such a real and meaningful message within. I loved how it dealt with the very relevant issues within its pages. I loved how the relationship between the couple seemed like a real relationship with the normal ups and downs but also the underlying tension of the very real problems they faced. You will feel a multitude of things, rage, indignant, righteous, sad, validated, happy, deep sorrow... I felt all of these things. To me that is a sign of a great book, to have been moved and provoked into thought. I will leave you with another quote from this book, because it made me smile and I think it outlines these two characters and their relationship perfectly. Once again, please read, it is a great book that will stay with me for a while.

Ian unwrapped one of the fortune cookies and cracked it open. “‘Everything has beauty’,” he read, “‘but not everyone sees it.’” He shrugged and set the slip of paper down next to the used chopsticks. “What does yours say?” Paul cracked open his cookie. He read the fortune to himself and chuckled at its appropriateness. “Well?” Ian asked. “What’s it say?” “‘Never regret anything that made you smile.”

Hunter Finn has is the Sentinel of the Willow Coven and after 10 years of self imposed isolation, he has been called home. But when he arrives he finds out he has a new "brother" within the coven, Dimitri Petrova, and their is unknown coven reeking havoc and attacking his sisters.
Tatyana Petrova is one of 13 siblings, but she has always been very close to her brother Dimitri. Recently Dimitri has been awol,claiming he has found a new family and distancing himself from her. She senses something is not quite right so she sets off to find him, in the middle of nowhere, to get some answers and give him a piece of her mind. Unfortunately things do not go to plan, her car breaks down, it storms and she has to set off on foot.
When she arrives she immediately feels a connection to the lovely witches within the Willow Coven home, definitely an attraction to Hunter Finn. However things become serious when they are all attacked, Tatyana is thrust into a world she had never really experienced, although her family is steeped in magical legends,she finds out fast that she is a witch and becomes blood bound to Hunter. This act saving her from a fate a slave/familiar to an evil warlock.
The evil warlock attacking the coven is intent on destroying them through any means, rape, torture,murder and planting malicious thoughts/ plots to tear them up from the inside. Everyone has to work together to beat the enemy before he rips them all apart.
I enjoyed the suspenseful, magical ride that was Hunter.Meeting all the members of the coven, the personalities varying as much as their powers and positions.
Hunter, himself, was an interesting character who had his fair share of demons that needed to be exercised. Lucky for him he meets the equally endearing, feisty Tatyana. I loved the connection between the two, the battle for each of them to withhold their feelings for one another. The tension between the two was electric which led to some very steamy scenes.
I found the villain of this book to be very scary, any sexual predator is and that is exactly what he is, preying on the woman of the coven to break them. I always like when the villain is a good one.
This was very easy to read and paced extremely well. The story was an interesting one and it was good to have a story fixed on witches rather than vampires and werewolves for a change. I am really keen for the rest of the characters in this book to get their own stories, so I really hope we get more of this magical group in the future.

He nearly bit off his tongue to avoid even thinking about Abby having any sort of toy-based fun. “I still call foul. When you and I agreed to this who’ll-beg-first stint, you didn’t say you’d be weaponizing your attacks.”
“Weapons?” She blinked innocently. “You make them sound so sinister. I’d say they’re more like…private tools. Survival tools, if you will. For my time here. Naturally, you were never meant to see them.”
“Bull. Next, you’ll tell me the snowflake masquerading as underwear in that bag is worn strictly for comfort. Hell, I’ve seen more fabric on the teeny doilies in Skylar’s toy tea sets—”
“Aw, I remember those,” she cut in softly with a smile. “She used to go on and on about how her ‘bestest Uncle Connor’ hosted the fanciest dress-up tea parties.”
“I wore suits,” he clarified gruffly, “and don’t change the subject. Why buy sexy lingerie if not to have them be seen?”
By me. He didn’t have to say it out loud, they were both thinking it. And his ego was celebrating it.
“Easy access,” she eventually answered, straight-faced.
His imagination went nuts. Picturing Abby wearing the microscopic scrap of white lace he saw earlier for private ‘easy access’ unhinged him. He shackled her wrists above her head with one hand and began tickling her ribs. “Another foul.”
“Stop!” she screeched and dissolved into a breathless puddle of mirth. “Okay, I admit it! It was a dirty, dirty foul on my part. You should definitely take a free throw shot.”
He paused, wondering where she was going with this.
She pointed to the trash can. “There’s the basket; my new panties can be the ball…since yours are clearly in a twist.”
Incredulous, he dialed up the tickle torture to merciless.
Her squealing ‘I-take-it-backs’ became unintelligible as she wriggled and squirmed and bucked until soon, he was fairly certain he was suffering more than she was.
Breathing hard, he released her wrists and rolled onto his back beside her. “You’re planning to drive me completely crazy these next few weeks, aren’t you?”
Limbs all akimbo, head dangling off the bed, she heaved between breaths, “Like you wouldn’t believe.”
