Cursed shape shifter, Alexander LĂ©andre, is resigned to his fate, but that doesn’t stop him from hunting down the descendants of the sorceress who bewitched him in the hopes of obtaining a cure.
Belle Beaumont is used to men never looking past her curvy figure and pretty face. She dutifully agrees to befriend Alexander in order to protect her father’s herbal company.
A single touch changes all. Passions flare. When Belle discovers what Alexander is truly after and why, will she accept him for what he is? And will her love and family knowledge be enough to break a hundred-year-old curse?

Review

**** I received this book as a part of a blog tour for my honest review****
Belle Beaumont is used to being used by her father to "help" him in business. Smile and keep the clients happy is what she does. However, Belle is not to be judged on her appearances. So when her dad asks her to distract Alexander Leandre so he can't swoop in and steal her family business she does it, but she also has her own agenda about getting to the bottom of this problem.
Talking of agenda's.....well Mr Leandre is being ruthless in getting what he needs. Taking down the Herbal company is just a means to an end in the search for the cure for a curse put on him by and ancestor of the Leandre family.
For all this books length (71 pages) I didn't think I would get such developed characters. Alexander and Belle were very well set up. Was this because it was sort of a modern day, altered, version of beauty and the beast? Maybe, but even saying that, I was still pleasantly surprised how this turned out. This book had everything there to make a really great story, interesting plot, enough steam and tension to keep you interested well paced and written and I did really enjoy it.
There was a little bit of shifted sex (sex in partial beast form). Not heavily detailed so nothing descriptive or offensive, but just a warning for those who may not like it.
I always struggle reviewing and rating novellas or short stories, some seem incomplete, or like they have started halfway through a story.
This one was a full story, however I do wish it had more. The back story of the original curse would have been great. How Alexander got cursed was only sort of hinted at and I wanted more details. I think Beast's Redemption could have been better if it had been extended and fattened up a bit.
As it stands it is a solid 3.5 stars from me, still really good.
