If you have not read Live For You book 1 in this series, I would suggest reading it first so your not lost.
What was on its way to happily ever after for Rae (Violet) and Cole is no longer a fairy tale, the two of them are have problems. When Cole sees Rae as a stuck up princess and doesn't want to be a charity case for her anymore, they fall apart. Now with Rae on tour with Jaxon and Callie things are worse than ever, but Rae wants Cole. Can she get him back; while secrets and lies come out can the two of them put everything aside to follow their hearts? This is the second book in the series and it's just as good if not better than the first one. There is drama, angst, hope, love and steamy sex!! I liked Rae in the first book, in this one I grew to respect her and see what a strong person she was. I was frustrated with Cole in this book, I wanted to smack him a couple times even though I knew why he was doing the things he was doing it still aggravated me. Jaxon oh Jaxon, he is not what he seems I love him and I can't wait for his story, he deserves his own HEA. Callie is a manipulative bitch; I couldn't find any redeeming qualities in her. Bliss intrigued me; she is a mystery with her blend of strength and vulnerability I want to know more. This book is not a sit down and relax read, it's a edge of your seat need a glass of wine frantically reading at midnight so you can find out what happens kind of book. I loved it, Marquita Valentine is a must read and the Boys of the South series is addicting.

Jane Beaumont has always been in love with Kage Archer. Her brother's best friend and one of the founding members of the private investigative business they run out of the family body shop, he's always been around to protect her. Unfortunately, he's always been in the friend zone. Years ago she put herself out there only to get pushed away. She swore she wouldn't do it again, even if her feelings for him didn't change.
Kage Archer knows he's no good for Jane. How could he be when his family's name is associated with so much crime and nefarious dealings? So he decided to try to keep her at a distance emotionally while keeping an eye out to protect her. The night she tried to kiss him? Still burned into his brain years later, even when he turned her down because he wasn't the guy who deserved her attention.
After living with a man who turns out to be not at all what he seems, Jane needs help and it turns out Kage is just the man for the job, even if it equals fighting the feelings they've had for each other all this time to keep her safe. Archer hit all the right buttons for me. Jane wasn't some wilting heroine that needed saving. She needed Kage but made sure she did what she could for herself and her own, even if they didn't always work out. Archer was sexy and a little emotionally tortured instant attachment to both. Jane's brother and the other guys at the body shop/private investigative business were fantastic. Little side stories that blended seamlessly with the storyline prepared you for the next book and left you wanting to read them now. Jane's friends were great as well and proved to have potential as great heroines as well. Just a great action filled and sexy romance to add to your reading pile.

Tate is in his prime lots of woman and a promising future as an author. Piper is trying to stay far away from her roots; she needs to job now so she takes one knowing the boss is a bit of a bastard. She goes to celebrate with her friends, meets a gorgeous man and they have a little "meeting" in the bathroom. Both of them thought they wouldn't see each other again, but fate the tricky bitch kicks them both in the teeth and it turns out that Pipers' new job is being the assistant to the bathroom god aka Tate the jackass. The two of them try to keep their attraction at bay and put some distance between them, but is easier said than done and the two of them are about to find out it's impossible to forget that first kiss. The title of this book does not do justice to how hot it is That First Kiss sounds so sweet and cute. This book starts out red hot, then keeps you at a boil with sexual tension just when you’re about ready to strangle the people you get some good stuff, and then you’re boiling again. Tate can be the biggest doucheater on the planet and then he does something sweet, it's hard not to fall in love with the guy. Piper had to have the patience of a saint to deal with him, yes sometimes she acted like an adolescent but if I was her I would have done the same thing. This was a great hot sexy read, not something that you want to be reading in a room full of people or if you’re looking to relax. It will have you on edge with the characters emotional angst, it will also have you laughing and reaching for a fan and a cold glass of water. J.C. Valentine is being added to my list of automatics author to buy and must have my husband home to read.

However, Caleb seems different. While he knows who she is, he's one of the first people to see her for the person she is behind all the fame, but can she truly trust someone enough to give them the power to break her?
Stay With Me was a very sweet, straight forward New Adult Romance. The characters had their struggle, but it was more about Hailey discovering herself and learning to trust and love Caleb with him as her rock and constant in her life. Very sweet with fun characters. Just an over all feel good book.

1. How was your first year attending RWA conference?
My first year at RWA was fantastic. I met so many great authors and industry professionals. The panels and workshops were really informative and I learned a lot. Plus, having the chance to reconnect with friends and people I do't get to see often was fun!
Also, everything they say about how awesome the Harlequin party is? So true.

2. Your bio mentions that you are a gamer, what are some of your favorite games and why?
Currently, I play a lot of StarCraft 2 and League of Legends. I enjoy both for the strategy and tactics as well as the opportunity to game online with my boyfriend. We're long distance so our gaming dates are really valuable quality time for us. I also spend a little time soloing as a hunter in World of Warcraft. Sometimes I just like questing on my own and using my pet as a tank.
In terms of console gaming, the Kingdom Hearts games are some of my all time favorites. I've also enjoyed Final Fantasy X and X.2 as well as FF XIII. More recently, I've begun playing Skylanders with Sonic Boom, the daughter of good friends Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris.
I'm also the setting and world writer for the Ministry Initiative role playing game, a steampunk paper and dice rpg based on the world of the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences. It's based on the Fate Core system and game design is by ENnie award winning game designer J.R. Blackwell.

3. When you finish writing a book what is the first thing you do?
Jump up and do a happy dance!
And then I set it aside for a while to clear my head and pick up a different project. I might take a night away from writing altogether and go out with friends or hop online to game with my boyfriend in celebration.

4. The London Undead series says it's slated to have 2 mores books, do you have releases dates for these yet?
Sing for the Dead is scheduled for release in November 2013 and Survive to Dawn is scheduled for March 2014. I don't have exact dates, but readers won't have to wait too long for the next books.

5. For you what is the hardest part of writing a book and why?
For me, it's difficult to find the balance between telling my readers all of the wonderful details about the worlds I've built or the backstory I've created for my characters and showing them what they need to know to enjoy the story without bogging them down in pages and pages of exposition or narrative.
How much is too much detail? How best to keep the story moving but give enough for people not to feel lost?
Sometimes I strike the write balance. Other times, I err too far to one side or the other. I do my best and I rely on my excellent editors to let me know when I've strayed too far.

6. What is your favorite comfort food?
Oh wow, that's a hard question. I love so many different kinds of food. LOL.
I think my favorite comfort food is baking cupcakes. Mostly because I can share with my friends. ;)
