Better Watch Yourself, Katie Kat
Katie Archer knows how to lie. After six years, no one really knows what happened That Night. Not even her twin sister. Choosing a college 3,000 miles away from the truth, Katie throws herself into art classes and a love affair with ice cream. Katie’s biggest rule? No boys. Ever.
But there is the little problem of Lucas Matthews. Former basketball star and total campus hottie, Lucas is the stuff girls have naughty dreams about—and he has the reputation to prove it! But that doesn’t stop liquid heat from running through Katie’s veins every time she sees him…
You’ll Never Get Away With It
Letting Lucas in is the hardest thing Katie’s ever had to do. And telling him the truth? Impossible. Then Katie starts to get threatening texts and she realizes Lucas is the least of her problems. Her past has caught up with her and it wants to settle the score.
I’m Coming For You
Now Katie must decide whether she wants to fight for her life, or leave everything—including Lucas—behind her forever...

Review
****The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley for my honest review****
Katie moved across the country and has spent the past six years perfecting the art of lying, she keeps everyone at arms length including her twin sister. She does not make friends, and she doesn't date, she just goes to her classes and stays in her apartment. All that changes on one of her habitual ice cream runs when she steps in to save a cat then she is saved by former basketball star and the campus stud Lucas. She doesn't want to let him in, but the attraction between them is undeniable, she won't tell him the truth but when the threats start things start to spiral out of control. Katie has to face her past whether she is ready for it or not, now she just has to figure out if she is going to let Lucas in to help her or if she is going to be all on her own. I really enjoyed the first part of this book, the first meeting between Katie and Lucas sweet, if not a little bit corny that's fine I like that every once in awhile. The few next few meeting were sweet with a little bit of humor thrown in to liven things up a bit, and it kept things from being too cheesy, things are not smooth sailing for the two of them, and there were times that I thought Katie was just downright bitchy for no reason. Lucas was the perfect boyfriend, and I liked him for the most of the story, there were a couple times that I wished he wouldn't have been so dang perfect and would have pushed Katie harder so that the story would have progressed faster and just because I like my heroes to have a little tarnish on their armor. Having said all that the reason I gave this book a low rating was because of the reason that Katie is so closed off and the big reveal. It was a little more than just the big reveal it was how detailed Katie was about certain things was really disturbing to me not because it was graphic content but because of how she described things. Yes, I know vague much but if you read the book you'll know what I'm talking about right away. The writing itself was good so while I may have had couple problems here and there, I liked the story was good and yes the one part was something I couldn't get over but I do like this authors writing style so I will definitely be picking up her other books.

I'm Lola Rooney, romance writer and part-time hula hooper. For a long time I was a lonely girl who didn't believe in love. Now I like to write about lonely girls and the boys who make them believe in love. I enjoy cupcakes, dimples, hula hoops (obviously), writing in my tree house and flirting with sexy men (who have dimples).
When I'm not yachting the Mediterranean I call Montreal home.
