1.    On your fan site you have a testimonial, do you think your writing has changed in the past couple years because of what you went through and how your faith has grown?

Yes, I think so.  And I understand why.  The Gena that crawled into that sickbed isn’t the one that jumped out healthy. I’m a new person, and learning my way.  I’m learning what works for me and what doesn’t, strengths and weaknesses, and I’m having fun along the way!     

2.   Which couple in your Lords of the Underworld series is your favorite and why?

I loved writing Kane and Josephina’s story.  He’s never had it easy, and because of the demon living inside of him, things have only gotten worse for him throughout the series.  Knowing the demon would hurt—and even kill—a love interest, he hasn’t allowed himself to date in centuries.  He’s had to rely on one night stands to get him by. But that isn’t going to be enough with Josephina.  He can’t get her out of his mind.  He obsessed, addicted, and determined.  Nothing will stop him from having her…except, there’s a problem that might prove bigger than the demon… (Yes, I am a tease!)  

3. You live in one of the areas affected by the tornadoes in Oklahoma and from what I have seen things are slowly being repaired, for people who want to help but don't want to just send money what suggestions do you have for them?

 The families that were affected by the tornados could still use your prayers as they relocate or rebuild.  There have been many church organizations bringing donations or even volunteers into the community, so you can look for that types of opportunity in your area.  Here’s a website that gives a better idea of specific needs: http://servemoore.com/.   And please know that anything you do is greatly appreciated in our community.    

4. When you are having trouble writing a scene what do you?

I go for a walk or a drive, or even take a shower.  I don’t know why, but those three things work better than anything else I’ve ever tried.

5. What is your favorite comfort food? 

My motto: Will Write For Food.  LOL  If I had to pick one, I’d go with…bread pudding (no raisins)

Callie left home years ago; her father left when she was young and she thought that living the nomad lifestyle would make her understand why he left. She is living in New York City when she gets a call from her deceased brothers’ best friend Danny, the man she loved and never had. Her mother fell off a ladder and needs Callie to come home. Callie realizes she still has feelings for Danny, yet she doesn't want to hurt him with her restless nature. Danny now sees Callie as a woman and these new feelings he has for her, could leave him with a broken heart. Will the two of them take a chance or will fear keep them apart? This is technically a good book, there is nothing wrong with the story and the editing is done wonderfully. Callie is strong and independent, yet she still has this lost little girl inside her. Danny is understanding, good looking and responsible, he is the boy every mom wants their daughter to date. The plot was interesting, girl comes home to help mom and she sees the boy she has always secretly loved. Boy sees girl differently sparks fly and the rest is history. However, as good as all those things were, I just wasn't feeling this book. I can't really put my finger on why, maybe it was because the book was slow or I didn't feel the heat between the couple. If you like your romance books to be pretty much drama free, with a few kisses here and there and a slow build up, then Coming Home is worth a try.

My hand crept towards a copy of Dante's Inferno. Leather bound, with a gold, gilt-stamped title on the cover and spine, and more gilt lining the edges, it looked like a book collector's dream. I stared at it, rapt, letting my hand caress the cover, feeling the rough leather against my fingertips. The book had a crisp smell with a tinge of masculine warmth, like a freshly worn man's leather jacket.

There was no possible way Asher Landseer had read this. Absolutely none.

Except when I opened it, it wasn't stiff. And there were dogears on a few of the pages. I moved to the first, wanting to see what he'd found so interesting, and...

"Midway upon the journey of our life, I found myself within a forest dark, for the straight forward pathway had been lost," a calm, confident voice said from behind me.

I panicked, tossed the book back onto the bookshelf, and turned to face the unknown speaker. That would have been it, except I was confronted by Asher Landseer himself. He stared at me with his cool, steel blue eyes. He looked none too happy with me intruding on his private space, browsing through his bookcase. Lenna goes with her dad to his companies Christmas party while there she sees a man who takes her breath away. Braxton is young, hot, charming and her fathers’ new boss who he absolutely hates. They try to ignore the attraction between them, but can't seem to keep their hands of each other. They start a secret relationship that gets more series than either of them planned. When her father finds out will it be the end of the two of them? This is the second book of Linda Kages that I have read and she is rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors, I loved this book. The relationship between Lenna and Braxton started out hot and heavy this didn't change throughout the book but the tone of it did. The two of them moved beyond the physical, their emotional ties to each other were strong. The things that Braxton did for Lenna were so thoughtful and beyond cute, I loved him for those things alone. Lenna settled Braxton, she was very loyal to her family and it was hard on her to lie to her father. Having to keep the relationship a secret added some angst and the whole forbidden element made for some steamy love scenes. I had one problem with the book, what her father said and did towards the end of the book really irked me. Lenna's reaction bugged me even more, I wanted to shake her a little bit. I know that is vague, I don't want to give anything away so you will have to get How To Resist Prince Charming to find out how great this book is.

This is the tale of one night with a repeat customer, where they discover they may just be more than coworkers. A hotel room, dancing, voyeurism, and a very hot set of characters and you have yourself a spicy story that leaves you begging for more.

Ali has made her share of mistakes. Two failed marriages and two beautiful little boys into life she has decided that it’s time to focus on her family and give up hoping for the fairy tale romance and happily ever after. Johnny can’t get Ali out of his mind since they spend an amazing time together at a friend’s wedding in Hawaii. When the opportunity comes for him to transfer to a detective position in California, he packs his bags and is on Ali’s doorstep. It turns out he couldn’t have come at a better time.
I read this book as a standalone. I do recommend reading book 1 because the very beginning you felt a little like you were starting a few chapters in, but it wasn’t anything you couldn’t figure out over time and didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the story. However, I will be going back because I can’t wait to find out more about the other characters! Ali & Johnny are great characters and very relatable. The writing was smooth, causing you to get lost in the story. The suspense wasn’t something I expect and was a pleasant surprise. One of the best romantic suspense I’ve read in a while.

Darcy is a nanny, she took a job with a family and by the time she found out they were mafia, she was already in love with the children and wouldn't leave. When her boss sends everyone away, Darcy stays for one more night and ends up seeing the man who may have killed her boss. Now people want her dead and she is on the run for her life. Walker gets a call for a job to find a girl who the mafia is trying to kill, he has to find her and keep her safe. Walker is trying to help Darcy, but she is not sure if she can trust him. With the strong attraction between the two of them they are both off balance. Can Walker keep her safe, will the two of them give into the fiery passion they feel or will the mafia catch both of them? This book hits the ground running, the first pages are full of action that grabbed my attention and kept me immersed in the story. Darcy is sweet and loving with a strong backbone and a tone of fight. Walker is a bit of a broken hero, he has a past that haunts him, but he also has a sensitive side that is adorable. I loved Walkers take charge attitude because it was tempered with knowing when to allow Darcy space and when to force the issue. The plot was interesting there are so many twists and turns that I gave up on guessing and just enjoyed the ride. When I Find You is a great romantic suspense novel, make sure you have plenty of time to read it once you start it you won't be able to stop till the last page is read.
