Interview
1. When you started the Harbor Falls Mystery Trilogy did you already have an idea of how it would end or did it come about later as you wrote the books?
Not at all. lol

Harbour Falls was originally to be a stand-alone, and the first epilogue (which I never finished) was to have been a HEA wrap-up for Maddy and Adam.

But I found I could never write that particular epilogue, and it was then that I knew there was much more suspense ahead for our two lovebirds. That was when and how Willow Point came to be.

I did have an outline of where I wanted to go with Maddy and Adam from that point on (no pun intended—hehe).

Wickingham Way, the third novel, was the most fun to write since the focus is on Maddy and Adam’s relationship. There’s still some intrigue, but this one is far more romance-oriented…and far steamier. *wink*

2. When you get stuck in your writing, what is the best way for you to get past it?

Ugh, I hate when that happens.

I usually take a short break from whatever story I’m stuck on. I may work on a different book or listen to music. Sometimes reading helps. I sometimes find other writer’s creativity may get my own going again.

3. Are there any books that you like to read on rainy days or when you're feeling down? Comfort books so to speak, ones that you go back to time and time again?

I can always read White Oleander by Janet Fitch. I love her style of writing.

4. You are a big Pittsburgh fan, does Adam Ward have something to do with one of the players?

He sure does. Not his first name, I just liked the name Adam. But his last name I borrowed from a former Pittsburgh Steeler, Hines Ward.

5. Is there any significance or symbolism in the names you have chosen for your characters?

Oh, I love this question and no one ever asks it, so thank you!

For first names, I usually pick names I like for the main characters (see question above). But for secondary characters, I try out a few and see what feels right.

The last names are more fun. I mainly like to use street names and names of different parts of Pittsburgh, where I live.

For example, in I Stand Before You, Kay’s last name is Stanton. There’s a part of Pittsburgh called Stanton Heights. And Father Maridale, his name is a street a few miles away.

6. What is your favorite comfort food/s?

Chocolate!!!!!

Judge Me Not Series
A story of love, a story of hope. How can you move forward when you're anchored to the past? When it comes to tattooed bad boys, Chase Gartner was the real deal. Partying, engaging in meaningless sex, getting into fights---Chase indulged in it all during his late teen years, thus firmly solidifying his status as a heartbreakingly gorgeous but way-too-dangerous-to-trust guy in his hometown of Harmony Creek, Ohio. Then, following one fateful night of reckless decisions, Chase's actions finally caught up to him and landed him in prison. Now, four years have passed and Chase finds himself a free man. He returns to Harmony Creek, ready to pick up the pieces and start rebuilding his shattered life. Things are off to a promising start when he meets Kay Stanton, a young woman with a tragic past of her own. Despite a powerful attraction, Chase and Kay are naturally hesitant to become involved. That's why friendship feels like the safest option. But when passions ignite and love blossoms, a relationship that is destined and meant to be can only be resisted for so long. When Chase and Kay finally succumb to their feelings they realize being together feels more right and true than anything they have ever experienced. But their love is soon tested. Chase's wild past still haunts and tempts him, and Kay is keeping a secret that could tear them apart. I Stand Before You is a journey of hope and forgiveness, coming to terms with the past and moving forward. But mostly it's a story of two damaged people who take a chance, open their hearts, and find true love. New Adult/Contemporary Romance genres. First in a series. ***warning: contains explicit sexual situations, drug use, some violence, and profanity***

Harbour Falls Mystery Series

Best-selling author Maddy Fitch, researching material for a new novel, returns to her hometown of Harbour Falls to investigate a disappearance that has haunted the tiny Maine coastal town for the past four years. Maddy soon discovers that the case has gone cold, but the prime suspect, Adam Ward, is hotter than ever. Now living on an isolated island, Maddy takes up residence near the sexy Mr. Ward's home. As she begins to seek out answers, the mystery deepens, putting Maddy in jeopardy. Lies, secrets, deceptions. Nothing is ever what it seems in Harbour Falls. A steamy novel that immerses the reader in an intricate storyline that will keep them glued till the very last page. First in a series. Romance/Mystery genre.

With the Harbour Falls Mystery solved, author Maddy Fitch hopes secrets and lies are behind her. But a cryptic letter from her former best friend would seem to indicate otherwise. Is the man Maddy fell in love with while solving the Harbour Falls Mystery, the gorgeous and rich Adam Ward, keeping a damning and potentially dangerous secret from her? Only the writer of the letter, Ami Hensley, knows for sure. But Maddy is hesitant to confront her, since the last time they saw one another Ami tried to kill her. But if Maddy wants answers--ones that could potentially save Adam--then she must face her fears and visit her former friend. Unfortunately for Maddy, Ami is currently locked up in the creepiest place in Maine, an old gothic structure that houses the criminally insane, known simply as Willow Point. Will this new mystery tear Maddy and Adam apart? Who else is in on Adam's secret? And will Maddy find the answers before it's too late? Another heart-stopping page turner from the author of Harbour Falls. Willow Point promises to keep you on the edge of your seat. 2nd in A Harbour Falls Mystery series. Romance/Mystery genres.

When Maddy Fitch discovers there's a hit out on the love of her life--the handsome, but often secretive Adam Ward--she concludes life with such a powerful man may never be normal. But who wants normal? Not Maddy--mystery writer and sometimes-sleuth. The heart-stopping action begins immediately in Wickingham Way when an attempt is made on Adam's life, prompting the couple to seek refuge at a "safe house." Tucked away in a cabin deep in the heart of Maine, Maddy and Adam fall deeper in love. But their happiness is cut short when someone they care for deeply is kidnapped, by the same organization that wants Adam Ward dead. Adam and Maddy return to Harbour Falls, and a dangerous cat-and-mouse game ensues. Twists and turns abound, keeping Maddy and Adam on their toes. But will the consequences of the decisions they make prove deadly? Only time will tell. Final novel of A Harbour Falls Mystery Series/Trilogy. Romantic Suspense/Contemporary Romance/Mystery genres.
****Wickingham Way is book number three (and the final book) in A Harbour Falls Mystery series/trilogy, but this novel can be read as a stand-alone.****
